Even before becoming a Bollywood superstar, Sonakshi Sinha was intimate with the film industry.

Today, as Sonakshi has become one of the most popular faces in Bollywood and Karan Johar one of its most revered directors, a clip of the two from 1999 has gone viral and is the most adorable thing you'll see today.

Sonakshi Sinha keeps getting skinnier. And no one is complaining

The clip from popular show Zee Cine Awards captures Sonakshi sharing a stage with her father Shatrugan Sinha and director Subhash Ghai to present an award to Karan Johar for 'best debut director'  for his film Kuch Kuch Hota Hai.

The actor was given the responsibility to announce the winner in the most coveted award ceremonies as Gai said, "I will give this privilege to announce this award to my niece who is prettier than her father. Don’t know if she's smarter though."

The gawky teenager managed to gear herself for the responsibility as she opened the envelope enthusiastically.

In case you didn't realise, that's Sonakshi in spectacles and sporting a fringe. Unlike her usual glamorous self, the actor looked awkwardly adorable on stage like any other teenager.
