On Monday, the LHC called the secretary on the next date of hearing on October 24 to inform the court on any action taken by the federal government on the incendiary speech given by the MQM founder on August 22.
The petitioner has alleged the MQM founder delivered anti-Pakistan speeches repeatedly but the federal government had not taken any action against him.
The attorney general or any official of the interior ministry has not appeared before the court, despite the full bench’s order, on which the judges expressed displeasure and summoned the secretary.
