RAWALPINDI: A walk to create awareness about the International White Cane and Safety day was held from the DCO Office to the Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI).

The Rawalpindi chamber took it upon itself to sensitize the people and the trade and business community in particular about the issues of visually impaired persons.

“The private sector should come forward and help visually impaired persons under their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) scheme,” RCCI president Raja Amer Iqbal said while talking to the participants of the walk.

People from all spheres of life, visually impaired persons, students, teachers, traders and office bearers of RCCI participated in the walk.
