This was said by Dera Ghazi Khan District Coordination Officer Nadeemur Rahman, while presiding over a meeting at DCO office on Sunday.
While giving details of the number of projects, he said in the first phase, 69 projects were initiated with the total cost of Rs60 million. He added in the second phase, 101 projects worth Rs90 million were commenced and 84 of them were completed in time.
Similarly, 65 projects were started in the third phase, 100 projects in fourth phase, while 101 projects in fifth phase were initiated, he pointed out.
The DCO said, “The government is utilising its resources to raise the standard of the people,” he said.
Nadeemur Rahman maintained installation of electricity metres and transformers at educational institutions would be completed in the specified time period.
In addition, he said laser land levelling units would be distributed among the farmers of the district. He informed the meeting the government will also provide subsidy of Rs205million on such units.
