For ashura: Educational institutions to remain shut

LAHORE: Educational institutions across the province will be closed on Tuesday, October 11 and Wednesday, October 12 on account of Ashura (9th and 10th Muharram). Public and private schools, colleges and universities are to remain closed on the above mentioned dates and notifications in this regard have been sent to parents and students. Regular classes will resume from Thursday, October 13. All Pakistan Private Schools’ Federation (APPSF) has also made the announcement, where APPSF President Kashif Mirza said that private schools would be closed on Tuesday and Wednesday.
