LAHORE: Chinese investors have shown keen interest in setting up an industrial zone in Punjab. In a meeting with Punjab Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Sunday, the investors showed willingness in setting up various industries. While talking to the investors’ delegation, the CM said relations between Pakistan and China have resulted in useful economic cooperation now that work on China-Pakistan Economic Corridor has started. The delegation was led by Sun Tao. Besides the Chinese delegation, Ugandan Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Henry Oryem Okello also met the chief minister and praised him for his work in Lahore while inviting him to visit Uganda. Shehbaz told him the Punjab government has taken several revolutionary steps in the development of agriculture and is willing to cooperate with the Ugandan government for progress in the sectors.
