ISLAMABAD: Information Minister Pervaiz Rashid on Saturday advised Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chief Imran Khan to hold his protest some other time in view of the sensitive situation being faced by the country.

“Being aggressive all the time does not suit a political leader,” the minister said while talking to a private news channel. He added that giving priority to political gains was not appreciated by anybody.

He asked Imran Khan to keep the Kashmir cause in mind and avoid damaging national alliance against Indian aggression in Occupied Kashmir.

Rashid said, “We have kept an eye on every Kulbhushan working against the national interest.” He added that the bold and courageous stand of the government against India has made its leadership nervous.

Meanwhile, talking in a separate private TV programme, Rashid rejected PTI’s demand of the election of a new prime minister, saying that the culture of agitation and chaotic politics should not be promoted in the country.

He said that PTI has filed a petition in the Supreme Court and it should wait for its verdict. He said that the party wanted to impose its own decision before the court’s decision.
