Online learning: VU, Dharmavahini Foundation to exchange lessons

LAHORE: Pakistan in collaboration with Sri Lanka will develop educational video content, educational programmes and course material for online courses.

The joint project was decided in a meeting between officials of Virtual University of Pakistan (VU) and Dharmavahini Foundation of Sri Lanka on Thursday.

A memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed between the two institutions to telecast educational material via satellite television network in both countries.

Both institutions agreed to develop educational content for a television channel, sharing of video lessons with subtitles along with course material.

Through the development of educational programmes, individuals and school in Pakistan and Sri Lanka will be able to receive education through television.
