On Wednesday, LHC Judge Ayesha A Malik adjourned the hearing on the petition after asking the petitioner’s counsel, Advocate Sheraz Zaka, for submitting further arguments on November 9.
Petitioner Tahir Khan had submitted the education board authorities should be inquired over the mandatory requirement for a NADRA B-form, which had not been imposed by any law or notification.
He claimed the B-form requirement was just a plot for asking money.
“When the birth certificate already shows the origin and nationality of students, why is there a B-form requirement imposed on students?” Advocate Sheraz argued. The board’s counsel sought time from the court to explain the policy on the matter.
