MANSHERA: The death toll from Saturday’s earthquake rose to two after another man succumbed to multiple injuries in the Kaghan valley on Sunday.

The man, later identified as Yunas, was working on the third floor of a hotel when the quake struck and in a state of panic, jumped off the building and sustained multiple injuries.

He was shifted to King Abdullah Teaching Hospital with  broken legs and head injuries from where the doctors referred him to Ayub Teaching Hospital, Abbottabad, where according to hospital sources he died late in the evening.

A villager was killed while six others were injured when a tremor rocked the valley on Saturday afternoon.
