One killed, three injured over personal enmity in AJK

MUZAFFARABAD: At least one person was killed and three others were injured when two neighbours clashed over past enmity in Shamhani area of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) on Saturday.

According to details, Abdul Majeed was cutting grass along with Sagir Ahmad, Amir Rashid and Banu Bibi. During this their neighbour opened fire at them.

As a result of the attack, Majeed died on the spot while the rest suffered gunshot wounds.

They were shifted to the Mirpur District Hospital for treatment. Doctors at the hospital described the condition of one of the injured as critical. Police registered an FIR of the attack and have started a search operation to arrest the alleged killer in the forests surrounding Shamhani.
