He said this while addressing a press conference at the JI, Karachi, headquarters Idara Noor-e-Haq on Saturday. The JI leader said that the current voters' lists were carrying up to 25% bogus votes, while thousands of voters are not mentioned in the lists. He announced that a legal petition will be filed if the ECP fails to make the lists 'flawless'.
He recalled that the ECP had announced in September that the lists will be made accurate by October 10 and had also announced to establish 278 display centres across the city so people can get their votes registered. However, less than 20% of the announced centres were established and they had no voter lists, he added.
