Pakistan beat West Indies by 111 runs in first ODI

Nawaz's four scalps and Babar's ton were the highlights of the day

Pakistan hammered the West Indies by 111 runs on the Duckworth-Lewis method in the first ODI in Sharjah on Friday, taking a 1-0 lead in the three-match series.

Babar Azam's 120 lifted Pakistan to 284-9 in a match reduced to 49 overs-a-side due to a floodlight failure before bowling out West Indies for 175 in 38.4 overs. The West Indies needed 287 to win.
