General Raheel says Pakistan cannot be coerced through any amount of malicious propaganda
Army chief General Raheel Sharif in a veiled reference to India warned on Friday that any misadventure by Pakistan's adversary will meet a befitting response from the armed forces.
“Pakistan can’t be coerced through any amount of malicious propaganda,” the army chief said during his visit to a newly developed Combat Reaction Training facility in the close vicinity of Lahore Garrison.

Speaking to the troops, the COAS exhorted all commanders of the Pakistan Army to lay more emphasis on combat readiness and said “the training in peacetime is the only guarantor of averting and winning a war if imposed.”
“The highest state of vigil is being maintained along the Line of Control, Working Boundary and the international border,” the army chief said while expressing his complete satisfaction over operation preparedness of the army.
Earlier, General Raheel also inaugurated a newly established Junior Campus of Garrison Academy, Lahore and attended their first school assembly. “It was a special moment as COAS visited the premises of the School where he was a student 44 years ago (March 1967 – 1972).”

A large number of students, faculty members and Lahore Garrison Education System staff were present on the occasion. The army chief was accompanied by Commander Lahore Corps Lt-Gen Sadiq Ali.
