Extra-curricular activities: GSIS holds football tournament

A kids carnival will also be organised at the end of tournament

The Global System of Integrated Studies (GSIS) is organising its seventh annual football tournament 2016 from September 29 to October 2. A total of 14 schools of Islamabad will be participating in the tournament including Beacon House, Froebels, Head Start, ICAS, KHS, OPF, PARK-TURK, ROOTS, Elite School, Khalduniya, LGS among others, a press release said. Boys as well as girls team from these schools will compete in the tournament. Speaking at the opening ceremony, Principal Qurutulain Ali said that “GSIS encourages students learning through co-curricular and extra-curricular activities. Such activities contribute to character building.” A kids carnival will also be organised at the end of tournament.
