Road accident: Five killed as bus plunges into ravine 

Four passengers survived the fall but were in critical condition

ABBOTTABAD: Five passengers, including a couple and a minor girl, were killed and four others were injured when a high-roof van plunged into a roadside gorge on Namili Maira Road, police and eyewitnesses said. SHO Bagnotar Tahir Salim Khan told The Express Tribune that a Suzuki high-roof was travelling to the Namli Maira village from Abbottabad with eight passengers and the driver. Near Chinasi village, some 25 kilometers from Abbottabad, the driver lost control of the car and it plunged into a hundred feet-deep ravine. According to eye witnesses, five of the passengers were killed on the spot. Four passengers survived the fall but were in critical condition. The dead and injured were removed to Shaheed Benazir Bhutto hospital.
