As India remains divided on whether Pakistani actors should be banned from the country's entertainment industry, Salman Khan has taken one step ahead to ensure ADHM and Raees are released peacefully.

The Bollywood actor who often lands himself in hot water with his controversial statements, did what no one else yet has for Fawad Khan and Mahira Khan's upcoming releases.

According to latest reports in Times of India, the Sultan star called
up Maharashtra Navnirman Sena President Raj Thackeray to request him to put an end to the entire brouhaha surrounding the release of ADHM and Raees.

MNS stated that they wouldn't let Karan Johar and Shah Rukh Khan release their upcoming films unless all the scenes featuring Fawad and Mahira are chopped off. Further, the party threatened all Pakistani artistes working in India to leave and return to their home country within 48 hours.

However, Salman is known to be close friends with Raj Thackeray and we really hope the MNS president listens.
