After the success of Find my Doctor, an app that helps users find doctors in their vicinity, Buzz Tech has launched Find My Doctor Plus — a patient management system for doctors.

How it works

The company charges doctors Rs1,000 per month for their services which include an SMS reminder, reminder for appointment booking and other patient data. Find my Doctor Plus, web-based app, does all the homework needed for a doctor before a patient walks in.

Not only is it an extremely feasible solution but also an essential one. With properly organised patient history, doctors can diagnose a patient more efficiently.

Underscoring how busy the lives of doctors can be, Siddiqui said, the software is designed to help reduce paper work for doctors’, manual cost of managing patient data and history.

“We are also launching online payments as well, so once the appointment is booked the patient can pay the bill and get a discount,” Siddiqui added.

Sindh Minister of Health Dr Sikandar Ali Mandhro congratulated Siddiqui for the launch and lauded the Find my Doctor programme as the first such programme in Sindh.

Earlier this year, the Find my Doctor app was launched on Android to help patients locate and rate doctors along with helping patients keep track of prescriptions and medical history. Last week, an iOS version of the app was also launched. The app currently covers only Karachi and Islamabad with its eyes set on entering Lahore.
