KARACHI: Three people, including two brothers allegedly affiliated with a Lyari-based gang, were found dead in separate parts of the metropolis on Saturday. The bodies of two brothers, identified as Kashif Saleem, 40, and Ashar, 25, were found from Lyari river near Lasbela Brigade within the limits of the Gulbahar police station. Police officials said the two were members of Lyari-based Arshad Pappu group and were kidnapped four days ago along with four others, who have yet to be found. Both the victims were shot once in the heads and chests and were later dumped in the river. Police believe rival group members could have been behind the incident. Similarly, the body of another young man, who has yet to be identified, was found from Sher Shah. The victim was killed after having been kidnapped, said the police, adding that the kidnappers tortured the victim before shooting him twice and dumping the body.
