As one of Bollywood’s leading ladies, Kareena Kapoor-Khan has always sparked new trends, either by way of her fashion choice or the films she chooses to act in.

But the fact that Kareena has been inspiring other women by remaining active throughout pregnancy makes her sister-in-law Soha Ali Khan very happy and proud, reported IANS.

Soha recently shared that there is a lot of excitement in the family in anticipation of Kareena and Saif’s baby, which is due in December. “There is a lot of excitement, of course! Kareena is going to be a mother for the first time but looking beautiful and really setting trends,” said Soha. “I think she stands for something that is wonderful in today’s world, talking about working through her pregnancy.”

The bubbling superstar has hidden her baby bump from the media. In fact, Kareena has been flaunting it proudly, even while walking down the ramp at a fashion show last month. Not to mention, the Bajrangi Bhaijaan star has also signed an endorsement for pregnancy test cards PregaNews, proving that she will not let pregnancy slow down her career.

According to the 37-year-old Soha, women, in general, work till the last trimester of their pregnancies. So, why should it be any different for actors? “I have friends who are bankers and lawyers and all of them work till their last trimester or till the eighth month even,” she shared. “Kareena is doing that as well. Why should celebrities be any different, as long as she is healthy, which she is. I have a lot of respect for her! I am really excited because I think Kareena and Saif make a beautiful couple,” Soha added.

Herself an actor, Soha is currently gearing up for the release of her next cinematic offering: a film entitled 31st October. It is slated to hit screens across India on October 7.
