"China is standing by Pakistan and will continue to raise their voice in its support at every forum," he said, adding that the country can help resolve the latest standoff between India and Pakistan.
The statement comes while the Chinese premier was meeting Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif in New York to discuss the matters of mutual importance.

While referring to Pakistan’s tension with India, Keqiang said that the former was itself a victim of terrorism and hoped that the rift between the two neighbouring countries did not escalate further.
PM Nawaz welcomed the China’s statements against the Indian brutalities in the occupied Kashmir valley, saying Pakistan is committed for a peaceful region and against all forms, manifestation of terrorism.
Terming the two countries as ‘iron-brothers’, Premier Nawaz said that now Pak-China relations have taken a new turn while also thanking the Chinese prime minister for understanding Pakistan stance in Nuclear Suppliers Group.
