Though it has only been a week since Apple's iPhone 7 came out, people have started putting the device to the test.

From drop tests, withstanding scratches to the question of ‘will it bend’, all can be seen on YouTube. Now, we have a new video from YouTuber David Rahimi where he tests the new iPhone's performance against Samsung ill-fated flagship Note. The test comprises rounds of tasks timed to see which phone outperforms the other.

iPhone launch generates crowds, queues worldwide

Halfway through the video, it becomes evident that the Note is doomed. The iPhone executes each task in half the time it takes the former. The race concludes with the iPhone taking one minute and 40 seconds with the Note clocking in just over three minutes.

Apple’s devices tend to greatly outperform others as the tech giant designs software in tandem with hardware to ensure optimum use of phone capacity. However, it is worth pointing out that the two employ different operating software. As such, a mere speed test does not suffice when it comes to comparing performance standards.
