Rashid said that Pakistan helps in providing a shorter route to China to destinations as far afield as Europe

ISLAMABAD: Information, Broadcasting and National Heritage Minister Pervaiz Rashid said Pakistan’s association with the “one belt, one road” initiative of China has reinvigorated ties between the two countries.

The minister was speaking at a meeting with the Vice Minister of the Chinese State Administration of Press Publication Radio Film and Television Tong Gang. The meeting took place on the sidelines of the Silk Road International Cultural Expo being held in the city of Dunhuang in the Gansu province of China on Monday, according to a press release.

Rashid said that the association with the one belt one road initiative will provide the much needed infrastructure and jobs in Pakistan. He also said that Pakistan helps in providing a shorter route to China to destinations as far afield as Europe.
