LAHORE: Judicial magistrates sent seven people linked to gambling on a 14-day remand. Factory Area and Ichhra police produced the accused in various courts. The counsel for the accused said their clients were implicated in false cases. They said that gambling charges against their clients were meant to humiliate and blackmail them. However, police investigators said they had caught the accused in the act.
