When the Badlapur star said his mantra of a perfect relationship was to be with one person in life, the moderator asked him whether he was committed to one person in life. Varun first tried to be evade the question and said he has that person in his life and that is his mother.

The actor then went on to add: "I don't know if I have my life partner, but yes I have someone for whom I care about a lot. And I can't tell you anything else about it."
