Congregation: Governor offers Eid prayers

PESHAWAR: Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Governor Iqbal Zafar Jhagra offered Eidul Azha prayers, along with other government officers, at his official residence on Tuesday. Peshawar High Court Chief Justice Mazhar Alam Mian Khel, K-P IGP Nasir Khan Durrani and a number of other senior government officials also offered prayers. Some tribal elders and other citizens of Peshawar also offered their Eid prayers with the governor. On the occasion, the imam offered special prayers for the security, stability and well-being of the country.  Later, the governor exchanged Eid greetings with officials and others present on the occasion. Meanwhile, a number of individuals, including elected representatives, tribal elders and prominent political figures also called on the governor to exchange Eid greetings.
