The mayor has directed the IMC staffers including sanitary staff to ensure their presence to perform duties during the three days of Eidul Azha. Around 2,000 sanitary staff and 100 vehicles will be available to dispose of offal and entrails of sacrificial animals. On the directives of the city mayor, a total of 35 dumping points have been set up at 16 different locations within the city. The mayor said that the CDA Hospital will remain open round-the-clock to deal with emergency cases while life-saving medicines have been made available at the facility to ensure timely treatment of critical patients.
