SUKKUR: Four members of a family, including a minor girl, were gunned down and two women were injured by armed men in Abdul Majeed Jakhrani village, in the Mauladad police limits of Jacobabad on Sunday morning.

A group of armed men entered the village and broke into the house of Abdul Rasheed Dharpali, where the family members were sleeping. The men opened indiscriminate firing due to which Dharpali, his two sons Inayat Ali and Wali Muhammad, and granddaughter, eight-year-old Sumaira, were killed on the spot, while Mai Suhni and Mariyam were injured.

The men fled away before the arrival of police.

Dharpali was a resident of Rojhan Jamali, Balochistan and after having a karo-kari dispute with his relative, Abdul Ghani Daharpali, had moved to Jacobabad.
