SHANGLA: The convener passed the development budget for Poran, Shangla without the consent of ruling government and opposition representatives on Friday. The ruling coalition of Poran tehsil and opposition members of ANP and JI had a brawl in the budget session. The ANP and JI leaders protested over the allocation of development budget in their respective areas and exchanged harsh words. When the convener started voting for the budget, the opposition came to the hall and fought with the ruling councillor. They demanded that the councillor allocate development budget fairly. Later, the convener passed the budget without the consent of the opposition and government officials.
