The meeting was also attended by Technical Committee Chairperson Latif Khan and other officers.
The committee voiced its concern over the slow pace of work on the hydropower project. They decided to start the restoration work of the project after Eid vacations, saying no compromises would be made over the early restoration of the Reshun hydropower station.
During the meeting, Latif was informed that PEDO has installed solar panels in over 1,000 houses and 350 KVA heavy duty generators from its own resources.

The energy and power department secretary directed the relevant officers of PEDO to work day and night to restore the Reshun power station soon.
He assured the people of Chitral that all efforts would be made for the restoration of Reshun hydropower station. He said the government was actively working for the completion of cheap energy projects in Chitral.
