Pakistan left-arm pacer Mohammad Amir will be on stage again, but this time with his significant other, as his wedding ceremony is scheduled to take place this month, Express News reported.

After tying the knot with Nargis, a British Pakistani, two years ago, the 24-year-old bowler is set to have three wedding functions on September 19, 20, and 21. All ceremonies will take place in Lahore.

Previously, after getting hitched, Amir told The Express Tribune, “I felt it was the right time for me to get into a relationship.”


He added: “One has to get a life partner at some stage of life, so I decided to do it now. I didn’t feel the need to wait any longer.”

When asked whether his marriage to Nargis was arranged, Amir shared that he liked Nargis and married her only after her parents’ approval.

Amir represented Pakistan in 18 Tests, claiming 63 wickets while dismissing 35 batsmen in 22 ODIs. In addition to that, he has played in 30 T20Is for Pakistan, claiming 34 wickets.
