Legendary Sufi singer Saeein Zahoor is going to feature in Rakyesh Omprakash Mehra's Mirzya.

The makers of the movie have roped in Akhtar Chanal Zehri as well. Together, this leaves no doubt regarding how the score of the film will turn out to be flawless.

Helmed by composers Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy, the music demands a passionate voice and Zaroor's voice seems perfect for the film's passionate theme. Zahoor, who has dedicated his voice to God and refused to record until 2006, has been convinced to croon by Mehra.

“Zahoor is an interesting character. He is truly immersed in his own music and world. Until 2006, he never recorded in a studio. The unique thing is, when you teach him the lyrics of the song, he draws pictures instead of writing syllables. That’s how he remembers the words. He was truly a delight to work with,” The Asian Age reports Shankar as saying.

“Akhtar bhai’s voice has an amazing texture, which represents Afghanistan. We had to compose the pieces around these two exquisite singers’ voices so that their presence doesn’t look forced into the song,” he further added.

The film is slated to release on October 7, 2016.
