Available on the SECP’s website, the guides provide comprehensive information about incorporation of a company in Pakistan, fee structure, facilities for online registration and statutory compliance post-incorporation to potential foreign investors in their native languages, according to a press release.
Pakistan offered tremendous investment opportunities and foreign investors and companies were eager to benefit from the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) and Gwadar Port projects,” it said.
“These guidebooks will be very useful for foreign investors aiming to invest in Pakistan in understanding the incorporation process,” SECP Chairman Zafar Hijazi commented, adding Pakistan’s regulatory environment was among the most investor-friendly in the world.
Apart from taking facilitation measures, like the promoter guides, the SECP said it had been frequently organising awareness seminars and workshops to highlight benefits of corporatisation, e-services, mandatory online filing and corporate compliance across the country in collaboration with chambers of commerce, tax bar associations and other relevant organisations.
