The court was hearing a petition filed by Zeeshan Ahmad through his counsel Daniyal Asad Chamkani on Thursday. According to the petitioner, he was ignored during the appointment process even though he fulfilled the eligibility criteria.
The bench was informed that the petitioner has secured first position in National Testing Service. The petitioner had applied for the post of a primary schoolteacher for Tehkal union council, which was advertised in the media. However, he was ignored because he was not a resident of the union council.
The petitioner said his Form B and CNIC showed that he was born in the same union council for which the posts were advertised.
