The judge also directed her not to take the child away from the guardian court’s jurisdiction till a decision was made by the court.
Arshad had filed seeking recovery of her son, who, she said, had been forcibly taken away from her. She had claimed that he was a drug addict. Arshad’s counsel had submitted that Khalil Ahmad Butt had signed a custody-sharing agreement with his client on June 23 but one day later, had taken the boy away. The counsel had presented the agreement. Butt’s counsel argued that she would not be able to take care of her son because was an alcoholic and an irresponsible person.
