Enquiry: IGP suspends police officials

PESHAWAR: A DSP and a head constable of the counter-terrorism department in Lakki Marwat have been suspended by IGP Nasir Durrani on charges of close contacts with criminal gangs.

According to a handout issued on Tuesday, the IGP also ordered a departmental enquiry against them. The report compiled by the senior officer states the duo had connived with notorious gang in various crimes.
