KARACHI: Pakistan's Aisamul Haq Qureshi with his partner Robert Lindstedt cruised into the quarter-final of the US Open after defeating Jean-Julien Rojer and Horia Tecau in two sets on Monday.
Aisam and his Swedish partner Lindstedt are unseeded in the competition, and they booked their place among the last eight after the match which lasted 98 minutes.

Aisam, Lindstedt reach US Open third round
The 36-year-old along with his partner took the first set 6-3 in 44 minutes. However, Rojer, who was Aisam's former double's partner along with his partner and 2012 Wimbledon finalist Tecau, hit back in the second set.
The Curaçao - Romanian pair led the set on their service game, while Aisam and Lindstedt chased them well to 6-6, pushing to a tie-break, where they eventually secured the win after.
Aisam and Lindstedt will face top seed French pair Pierre Hugues Herbert and Nicolas Mahut in the quarter-final.
