Criminal cases: Five people killed in Mastung

Police have started investigation into the incidents

QUETTA: Five people were killed by unidentified armed men in separate incidents in Mastung on Monday.

According to SSP Mastung Waheedur Rehman Khattak, Assistant Sub-Inspector Police Abdullah Nachari was going home along with his son when unknown armed men riding a motorcycle opened fire on them on the Masjeed Road as a result of which he and his son died on the spot.

Meanwhile, unidentified men also killed a policeman in the Teri area, located on the outskirts of Mastung town. The deceased was identified as Munir Ahmed Raisani.

In another incident two labourers working on Dasht highway were gunned down by unidentified men on Monday. According to Levies force, armed men riding a motorcycle opened fire on the labourers who died on the spot while the attackers managed to escape.

Police have started investigation into the incidents. Meanwhile, district security forces arrested two alleged kidnappers and their four facilitators in Chaghai and recovered a boy they had abducted.
