‘Illegal’ structures: Five more MQM offices razed
A total 301 MQM offices were present in the city
KARACHI:
Five more offices of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) were demolished on Monday as the crackdown against ‘illegal’ offices continued in Karachi. So far, 80 MQM offices have been razed by the Karachi Development Authority (KDA) and Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC) under the security cover of the police and Rangers. One sector and four unit offices - 186, 187, 190 and 191 - were demolished in Pak Colony area on Monday. Police officials said the offices were demolished as they were established on parks and government land. A total 301 MQM offices were present in the city, of which 80 have so far been demolished.
