SUKKUR: We do not support those who chant anti-Pakistan slogans, said Sindh information adviser Maula Bux Chandio while speaking about the recent remarks by Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) founding chief Altaf Hussain.

He was addressing a press conference in Sukkur on Saturday. Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) is loyal to the people and it will never tolerate anything against the country's interest, he said.

On the contrary, Pakistan Muslim League- Nawaz (PML-N) takes a long time to give its version on the national issues, he claimed. "The PML-N is also tight-lipped over the statements issued against Pakistan by Indian leaders."

Commenting about the position of the mayor of Karachi, he said, the government will take the legal course as he has been elected constitutionally. Casting doubts over MQM's decision of disassociating with its chief, he said, it is their decision, may it be true or false.

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI)'s chairperson Imran Khan has taken the decision for solo flight but we cannot go along with him without the consultation with party leadership, he said. "However, we will take to the streets for the country and the people, if needed."

Speaking about Panama leaks, he said PPP has always maintained its stance against corruption and has not entered into any agreement in this regard. He also criticised former President Pervez Musharraf and claimed, "He was afraid of the people and the courts."
