LAHORE: An additional district and sessions judge on Friday reserved his verdict on singer Humaira Arshad’s petition seeking custody of her son. Humaira submitted that her former husband Ahmad Butt had forcibly taken her six-year-old son Ali away. She said that Butt was a drug addict therefore she did not want him to take care of her son. The judge directed police to produce the child in the court. Butt appeared before the court along with his son Ali. He submitted that Humaira’s brothers and relatives were running gambling dens therefore he did not want his son to live with his mother. After hearing both sides, the judge reserved his verdict on the petition.
