Khalid Khawaja, a great man

LAHORE: With reference to your editorial of May 2 titled ‘The killing of Khalid Khawaja’, I would say that he was a great man. He worked all his life for Islam. He spent a lot of his time trying to trace all those who had disappeared and he was against the taking of an innocent life. He did his best to stop the mass murder that happened in Lal Masjid and spent several weeks in jail because of that.

He was Ghazi Abdul Rashid’s best friend and he provided shelter to Ghazi’s family after his death. May his soul rest in peace.
