LAHORE: Following Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif’s visit to Turkey, a Pakistan-Turkey Business Roundtable event was held Thursday, at the Pearl Continental Hotel, with top Turkish diplomats and business leaders in attendance.
During the event, Turkey’s new Consul General for Lahore, Serdar Deniz, was officially introduced to the business community for the first time.
Speaking at the ceremony, Minster of Industries said that throughout history Pakistan and Turkey have lent support to each other during difficult times, adding that, “the goodwill and friendship of the Turkish people toward Pakistan was recently underscored by
the unprecedented welcome accorded to Punjab chief minister during his recent visit.”
