Swift Justice: Tribunal annuls termination orders
The petitioner appealed the tribunal to overrule the PSC notification so that she could be reinstated
PESHAWAR:
The Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Services Tribunal has reinstated a senior teacher by declaring Public Service Commission (PSC)’s termination orders void. Nilofer, the petitioner, was terminated from her service after six months of her appointment. The tribunal was informed that the petitioner was appointed as an English teacher after she passed her written test and interview. However, after six months, the petitioner was sacked and another female was appointed illegally on the seat. The petitioner appealed the tribunal to overrule the PSC notification so that she could be reinstated.
