The first medi bank in the tribal belt was inaugurated in Torkham on Thursday. The initiative will provide free medicines to people irrespective of tribe. Speaking on the occasion, Governor Iqbal Zafar Jhagra said efforts have been initiated to provide facilities to the people of the tribal belt and a special package is being devised. Jhagra said Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz carried out development work in underdeveloped areas and brought them into the mainstream. He added the FATA Reforms Committee has finalised the report. “Soon the region will face a new era of development which will change the lives of tribespeople,” he added.
