Days after Farooq Sattar announced a complete disconnect with Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain, the party’s coordination committee member Wasay Jalil has said any such decision will not be acceptable.

“We will not accept minus one formula on Altaf Hussain. Altaf Hussain is MQM and MQM is Altaf Hussain,” Jalil tweeted.

Regarding Sattar’s decision to present a resolution against Altaf in the National Assembly, Jalil said, “We will not accept any resolution in NA.”

“There will now be a complete disconnect with Altaf Hussain. We have no links with Altaf Hussain. It should be clear to all now,” Sattar had announced last week.

Sattar’s statement came after Altaf’s August 22 anti-Pakistan speech, which was followed by a Sindh-wide crackdown against the MQM. Scores of party leaders, workers were detained while a number of its offices were subsequently sealed and demolished.

Our Government should ask British Government to hand over Altaf Hussain for treason charges, along with bunch like Wasay Jalil and many who have not taken anti Pakistan slogan seriously. It means they are on the same page as Altaf Hussain is. Enough is enough, we do not need minus or plus formula. Those are patriot must come forward with Pakistani Nation.Recommend

MQM Pakistan should categorically expel all foreign nationality holders from its ranks. If someone wants to do politics in Pakistan, he/she should denounce foreign nationality. Period.Recommend
