Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) leader Tahirul Qadri has announced that his party will support for the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) September 3 protest against corruption.

“PAT will completely support PTI’s Pakistan March and we announce our participation in it,” Qadri told a press conference on Wednesday. He was flanked by PTI leader Jahangir Tareen and Sheikh Rasheed.

PTI hopes to bring Lahore to standstill with its rallies

“We will be approaching Lahore on September 3 and the Supreme Court next week to make Nawaz Sharif answerable for the wealth exposed by Panama Papers,” Imran Khan announced in Chakdara, Swat.

The PAT chief said PTI will also join his party's Salmiyat-e-Pakistan March in Rawalpindi.

“We are protesting to demand justice for the Model Town massacre, to expose the corrupt faces revealed in Panama Papers leaks and to extricate Pakistan of corruption,” Qadri said.

He said enemies were attacking Pakistan’s national security but Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif remained quite.

“India’s Modi said the people of Balochistan people thanked him but our PM did not issue any statement against him," said Qadri. "The people have united, come together and will protest against Nawaz government on September 3."
