Footage shows the Indian premier alerting the cameraman

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi is known to not let a good photo-op go by. This time, however, it seems the opportunity offered itself up with no efforts from the premier.

Modi inaugurated the SAUNI irrigation project in Jamnagar, Gujarat on Tuesday and while he was watching water being released from the Aji Dam, he noticed a Doordarshan cameraman standing in the way of danger. A video of the incident shows Modi, standing next to Gujarat Chief Minister Vjay Rupani, alerting the cameraman.

The cameraman seems to have gotten out of there in the nick of time. However, it is not quite clear whether his life was really at risk. The camera did take a bashing though. Watch the video here:
