ISLAMABAD:
Minister for Information Pervaiz Rashid on Sunday said the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) government had brought about an economic turnaround in the country and payment of record taxes by the people reflects their trust in it.

The minister, in a statement, questioned as to why the people of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa were not paying taxes to the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government.

He said the Nawaz Sharif-led government had strengthened the national institutions of the country while PTI chief Imran Khan had solicited people to vote for a person in referendum, who was responsible for damaging the institutions.

The baseless and false allegations being hurled by Imran Khan would ‘drown in the River Jhelum’ the day after tomorrow, he added.
