LONDON: A British army bomb disposal team was deployed to an area in Birmingham, central England, on Friday after police arrested five men on suspicion of being involved in the instigation of acts of terrorism.

Police arrest 2 suspected of plotting attack in Belgium

The West Midlands police force said as a result of one of the arrests, an army bomb disposal team had been called in as a precautionary measure to the Lee Bank area of Birmingham.
